After 30 years in the denim industry, Jeff Rüdes, the man behind the iconic Abercrombie & Fitch range, joined forces with celebrity and editorial stylist Susie Crippin to create J Brand in 2004. Focused on classic shapes, the perfect fit and a timeless look with a fashionable edge, their first collection was released in spring 2005 and was sold exclusively at Ron Herman’s Jean Bar in LA. An instant hit, J Brand was the first American jeans label to drive the now cult-status skinny-fit look.
