Established in 1924, Belstaff was the brainchild of businessman and keen motoring enthusiast Eli Belovitch, together with his son-in-law, Harry Grosberg. The label became known for its high-quality outwear and waterproofs and was popular among the traditional English motorsports set – one famous customer was the pioneering aviator Amy Johnson. In recent years, the label has been given a glossy makeover and is now best known for its trademark tough-luxe motorbike jackets in buttery leathers. Belstaff also offers a covetable range of smart-casual separates including slouchy knits and skinny jeans. Cementing its style credentials, the brand has recently collaborated with actress and fashion icon Liv Tyler.
